Orthodox Icon Theotokos, Our Lady of the Inexhaustible Cup

This icon is known as Our Lady of the Inexhaustible Cup (Russian: Неупиваемая чаша, “Neupivaemaya Chasha”). It is a revered Russian Orthodox icon of the Theotokos (Mother of God), especially venerated for its association with healing from addictions, particularly alcoholism and drug abuse. Historical Background: • The icon is believed to have originated in the 19th century in the Vvedensky Monastery in Serpukhov, Russia. • A man suffering from alcoholism reportedly had a vision directing him to the monastery, where he was healed after venerating the icon. • After this event, the icon became known for miraculous healings and developed a strong reputation, particularly for deliverance from addiction. Every icon we make begins with prayer. In our small workshop, each piece is lovingly handcrafted using a high-quality archival print of the sacred image, carefully mounted onto a 3/4” MDF panel. The edges are skillfully routed, the surface sealed and finished by hand, and a keyhole slot is added to the back for easy, secure hanging. This process preserves the beauty of the holy image with exceptional clarity and durability, allowing it to be venerated for many years without fading or peeling. Each design is reviewed by my priest and offered only with his blessing, so you can be assured of both reverence and authenticity. Perfect for your home prayer corner, as a gift for a loved one, or as a devotional piece in a church or chapel setting.
